Brookfield Zoo Passes And Borrowing Rules

The Brookfield Zoo has generously issued passes to the South Holland Public Library for our patrons to use for free entrance to the Brookfield Zoo.  Parking is $8.00 per car, and the Hamill Family Play Zoo is $3.50 for adults, $2.50 for children.  With this pass, up to FOUR people are allowed free entrance to the Brookfield Zoo.

The following borrowing rules apply to the Brookfield Zoo Passes:

1. Zoo Passes are available on a first come, first serve basis, NO HOLDS. A limited number of Zoo Passes are available at one time. Therefore, there is a limit of one Zoo Pass per family.
2. A Zoo Pass must be checked out by an adult South Holland resident on their South Holland Public Library card.
3. Zoo Passes will be checked out for three days.
4. At the time of check out, a $25.00 cash deposit is required.
5. Zoo Passes must be returned during the hours that the library is open. Please return to the circulation desk in order for your deposit to be refunded.
6. If the Zoo Pass is late, there will be an overdue fine of $2.00 a day, which will be deducted from your deposit.
7. If the Zoo Pass is lost, library staff will be unable to return your deposit.
8. We are sorry, but we are not able to renew the Brookfield Zoo Pass.
